Today is a BagelToday is a bagel:Today is a Bagel
It is chicken and cheese And tomato, and stained paper.
Wrapped, enfolded like a child Growing in it's mother's womb: Warm. Like Kronos, I long to consume it. A prize not yet won.
I hunger through this day.
I see, sweet bagel of mine,
the man at the counter, Piro,
but dark haired. I see Early morning sunlight, Feel chill, Fremantle air, smell ocean and coffee. I feel, as mum harasses Piro, My eyes roll behind the shade of my sunglasses.
Piro isn't to blame: Piro work's at the counter. I feel embarassment in my b


Sin, first draftMy mother smells of sin today.Sin, first draft
The gentle reek won't go away.
I turn my face and try to hide But mother screams that she's a bride.
I look upon my lifeless soul And other things which are the toll. But yet i musn't be afraid; It is the wage of sin full paid.
The world, i know, is very kind To those who are alike in mind And yet, despite this simple goal, I do not want to live at all

Never did see, curved so light
